Child Support

If you made a decision to have a child, presumably you also thought about the commitment to support that child to the Age of Majority.

Just because the relationship between the parents of the child may end, this is never a reason to abandon any child born as a result of the relationship.

Unfortunately this is often not the case and many single custodial parents male and female do not receive support for a child from the other parent.  Guidelines are in place in the state of Florida to attempt to set and collect child support from those individuals who choose to become absentee parents.
